A2: 1. Drain: Empty before freeze. Extend hose, shake nozzle dry.

      2. Store: Keep interior dry. Store nozzle inside. Shut outdoor supply.

      3. Maintain: Test & lubricate retraction. Check seals.

Q3:Can it automatically lock and automatically retract?

A3:Yes, it can lock at any desired length and retract slowly and automatically. For your safety,       it is recommended to hold the hose and guide it gently during retraction.
